The Keep Refillery Kingston

WELCOME

The Keep Refillery opened its third location in the downtown core of historic Kingston, Ontario in December, 2021. On the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario, Kingston is known as the “Limestone City”, as many of the spectacular heritage buildings were built using local limestone. The City of Kingston is focused on their vision to become Canada’s most sustainable city. 


We acknowledge the land that we live, work and breathe on is the traditional territory of many nations including the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties.

I bought hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap and a cream cleanser. A giant mason jar of laundry soap was about $7, a mason jar of hand soap was just over $1. I found the prices reasonable, especially for the core products. Some products have a higher cost due to using more expensive ingredients, such as olive oil vs glycerine based soap. It is a great store that I hope catches on, with a very forward thinking sustainable business model."

...and it is all natural and mostly hyper local. We stopped in on a work trip and I bought the toothpaste tabs, the mouthwash, the shower steams, the hand soap for all of my stores and the dry shampoo - LOVED every single thing! Once you go plastic free, you can’t go back and I applaud this entrepreneur for having the foresight to open something so needed in our communities!"

 ... I found it cheaper for my laundry detergent to refill as it is very condensed so you don’t need a lot (a little goes a LONG way). They have everything you need to make the swap to a more sustainable life without hurting the bank account!

"This store is a hidden gem! I love their hand soaps and dish soaps. I have always had terrible hands that crack, but ever since I started using their soaps I haven’t had any issues! I highly recommend the oatmeal hand soap- it works wonders!!"
